LECTURERS

 

Dr. Ralph Buultjens is Professor at New York University and former Nehru Professor/Professorial Fellow at the Univ. of Cambridge (U.K.) He is also on the faculty of New School University and was Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Council. He has been a consultant/advisor to the United Nations and other international organizations.

Dr. Lillie Edwards is Professor of History ay Drew University, where she serves as Director of African-American Studies and American Studies. She received her PhD from the University of Chicago.

Dr. Steve Golin is Emeritus Professor of History at Bloomfield College, where he served as Teaching Center Coordinator. He received his PhD in the History of Ideas at Brandeis University. Dr Golin has published two books, both won prizes for Outstanding Scholarly Work in New Jersey History.

Edward M. Graham, senior fellow of Institute for International Economics, has been an adjunct professor at Columbia Univ. since 1992, previously an associate professor at Duke Univ.and MIT, International Economist in the the Office of International Investment Affairs at the US Treasury (1979-80), and author and co-author of a number of studies.

 

Dr. Susan MacManus is Professor of Public Administration and Political Science at the University of South Florida. She is known for her commentary on public opinion and intergenerational politics and has appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CNN, C-SPAN, plus many others, including Tokyo and Australian television.

 

Dr. Mohsen Milani is Professor and Chair of the Department of Government and International Affairs at the University of South Florida He has written extensively about the Persian Gulf, the Iranian Revolution, and Iran’s foreign and security policies.

Dr. Jerry Pubantz is Professor of Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
He is a member of the National Advisory Board of the Middle East Policy Council and was formerly National
Educational Consultant to that council. He has a Ph.D. from Duke University.

Mark Rosenblum teaches at Queens College of the City University, where he is Director of the Harrington Center and head of its Middle East Project. He was a founder of the Peace Now movement in the US. Mr. Rosenblum makes frequent trips to the Middle East and has met with Israeli, Palestinian and Jordanian leaders

Dr. Douglas Simon has recently retired as Professor of Political Science at Drew University, specializing in international affairs, U.S. foreign policy, international organization and national security. He served in U.S. Air Force Intelligence, including a tour in Vietnam.

Martin Walker is Editor-in-Chief, United Press International. Previously, in his 25 years as a journalist with
the Guardian newspaper, he served as bureau chief in Moscow and the US, as well as European editor and assistant editor. He is a senior fellow of the World Policy Institute at the New School in NY.

Dr. Marvin G. Weinbaum is a Scholar-in-Residence at the Middle East Institute. He served as Afghanistan and Pakistan Analyst at the US Department of State (1999-2003), and is Professor Emeritus at the University of Illinois


How to Get to:                                                                  

Bickford Theatre:
In
Morristown, turn north from Columbia Turnpike onto Normandy Parkway. The entrance to the Morris Museum and Bickford Theatre is on the left.

If coming from Madison Ave., (Rt 124) continue past Fairleigh Dickinson until you reach a Friendly’s restaurant on your right. Turn onto Normandy Parkway, continue past the first traffic light. Morris Museum is on your left.

Parking:

This year, due to construction there are very few parking spaces at the museum.

To find the nearest parking, follow the signs at the first right turn past the museum entrance drive. This parking area at the Unitarian Church is a three minute walk from the museum.

The parking spaces at the museum are reserved for those who are unable to take the three minute walk.
